Shutterfly and Roku

If you use Roku with Netflix, you can now load your photos onto the Shutterfly site and view them on your TV. Beautiful!

I have a TV with a couple HDMI ports and a laptop with an HDMI port. I can view the pictures on my laptop on the 42 inch TV with this setup. The TV also has a USB port so I can use a flashdrive loaded with pictures to view on the TV. Although I have Netflix and a Roku I prefer one of these options. There is more than one way to skin a cat. I also use the laptop/TV setup with a wireless router to watch videos from Netflix, Hulu, Youtube or whatever.

Great to know - Shutterfly - well, it has been showing up as an ad lately - annoying but the site has some great features.

You can use a USB to SDHC adapter and plug the combo into the USB port on the newer TVs. just take the SDHC card right from the camera and plug into the USB adapter, then plug into the TV. Our Samsung LED LCD has a slide show feature as standard, great way to and show images.

I use the sony box for netflix and it has a usb port on it. I have been loading pics on a memory card and playing them on my TV that way.
