I know this is almost impossible to to achieve but I need a smaller camera that will take video and stills from 12 rows or less. I'm willing to pay up to $700. I've read a lot of reviews and it seems that Sony has a couple of cameras that do better than others in low light. Recommendations? Advice? Thanks!!!

I have seen people making what look like very good videos with their cell phones during performances. Of course if photography is prohibited, that bright screen will be a dead giveaway.

Thank you...I have used my iPhone 4S at concerts with moderate success. However, I'm hoping for even better results. Hoping I'll hear some recommendations for point & Shoots with benefits!!!

Panasonic FZ200.. Fixed 2.8 lens, nothing else comes close for low light and reach, equivalent 640mm zoom at 2.8. You should be able to find it in Kit with case and memory card for $ 599. No bright screen as you can turn it off and use viewfinder. For tutorials search Graham Houghton on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Graham+Houghton

It is a Bridge however not true PandS

Thank you! I will research this camera! The next concert is on 9/27 so I still have some decision making time!
