Took my new Sony A580 with Tamron 18-270 PZD out walking the dog this afternoon. Cold but sunny in New Hampshire today. I got some pretty good shots in spite of the dog always wanting to pull me just when I had my subject in my live view that I always use when I'm walking the dog. Anyone else out there use any of the new or last generation Sony cameras?

That's when my dog wasn't tugging. You should see some of the other ones.

Thanks, I have been trying to learn the names of more of the birds I photograph. I don't know the name of the bird in the second and third shot.

Image stabilization does a good job in the Sony camera body but here a few of my less successful shots

My wife has a Sony A33 with 18/250mm sony lens.
I have a 2 months old A35, so far really works well.
Very happy with both cameras..

The bird in the second and third image is a female White Breasted Nuthatch.

First is wife's photo with A33.
Capture taken hand held, no flash allowed, timing is important..
Maybe 40 feet away.
Second is my A35 shot of a bird.
