Two of our close friends recently got married in Laughlin NV, I took this just after they said their vows. Since it was a last minute trip (long story) we there were the only 6 people present, so they just had the reception for all the friends and family Saturday July 13. So that gave me the chance to create this for them as their wedding gift. I took the original and softened the background, took the kid out that photo-bombed us, then made it Sepia and cropped it close. I printed it as an 11x14, used a 16x20 matted frame, and it came out great. They loved it. I am thinking of entering it into our local Photo Contest which is coming up for the beginning of August. C & C welcome...

You should center the couple to one side or the other so there will be room for the Blue Ribbon without blocking the couple!
Some may wished they could see the groom's face, better....
But I, think this is very, very, nice!!
I can see why they are excited about the image!

Beautifully done and hope you win the photo contest.
I think it is a very nice photo. I too would rather have seen it off center just a little; and I think I would like it better if it was in a vertical frame.
I really like it, I can see why they loved it. The only thing I would liked to see is the sunglasses gone, but that's just me.
The feel of this candid over say, a posed shot, really makes it special. Nice job and a thoughtful gift. Good luck with the contest...keep us posted. ;-)

Thanks :D Oh I hope so :D When I matted it I had to actually cut into the photo a bit since it wasn't a standard size because I had manually cropped it to start with. I had it made a tad bigger that the matting so I could position it off center without getting any white lines. In frame it comes just to the tips of the bride's hair at the bottom.

Thank you I will have to see how a vertical would look. I appreciate the suggestion :D

LOL I can understand that. We were outside on the riverfront and it was so hot and sunny that day. But you have a point. 8-)

Thank you I will  I took about 3-4 of them at this location and that darn kid kept getting into the shot, I managed to PS him out but one reason for the close crop.
