I know nothing about it but I just Googled it & most reviews are not very favourable. According to the reviews, there are issues with AF & metering. I assume it is supposed to have the same function as a 3 tube set, but by extending the length by zooming, rather than adding more tubes/rings.
Byon Peterson just posted about this, But after i also read the reviews I will stay with my extension tube set

I read the reviews as well-- and posted on this.
Several of them infer a definite lack of knowledge about macro photography and the proper use of extension tubes, so I would take those reviews with a grain of salt.
Am I getting one? No. For now, I'll continue to use my Kenkos....
Do I think this idea has merit? Absolutely.
I'd love to test it and do a review for them-- but not enough to buy.

I read the complaints, and it is obvious to me that the reviewers are not experienced macro-photographers. As an example, one complained about problems with zoom lenses, another about use with a 300-mm lens. Also complaints about metering, which is moot because most serious macro-photographers shoot manual exposure. Novice photographers expect new equipment to be magical, because they have not yet grasped the fundamentals of macro-photography. ALL of the problems cited also occur with normal auto-extension tubes.
I use a set of Kenko auto-tubes, and have no need to augment at this time.

I too, take all reviews of any product with a grain of salt...There are too many "photographers" out there who really don't know what they are doing & if they don't know how a product works, will trash it in a review...Hell, until I bought a used D300, I used to use a Nikon D70s with my older manual focus lenses. That meant, no metering of any sort, in any mode (unlike the D300 where it will meter in "M" or "A" modes)...I guess people aren't willing to "work" for a shot...
I do a bit of reversed lens stuff from time to time and I can see where it would be very useful if it works well.
That's what I figured, NG...I subscribe to Brian Peterson PPSOP and he did a video on Mup (mirror up macro) using it but only made mention of it...not a review, that's why I asked here. I didn't think much of it fact that he did nothing but mention it.
I played around with it but I couldn't make anything special happen. It may be my fault.
