First the background is to busy the building is very distracting. Secondly the leaf going right to left from behind the flower does nothing to help.
If possible I would have repositioned the shot for a better background, or changed lens so as to further blur the background. Also looking at this small picture I would guess that the original is quite noisy, and would have done adjustments for hue/saturation, contrast, luminescence/ld
colour/cd, and maybe added spotlight and worked on shadows.

Besides the distracting background that Macromad mentinoed, there is some strange banding happening behind the flower. I also appears to be underexposed by a 1/2 stop or so.

Don't plan on winning the contest. Out of focus and poor composition. It's a snapshot.

It's not bad, but unfortunately it is not a contest winner. The building is distracting and it is slightly OOF.
