The EU has ruled that a British prisoner who executed a family of six cannot be held in prison for life.
For God's sake someone get us out of this union ruled by lunatics,

He was given a life sentence but the EU said he cannot not look forward to not getting out.
They should have that old rope with a noose.

What a contradictory crap. They don't want to execute some mad dog because "it is a cruel and unusual punishment." Yet, they don't even wink an eye killing hundreds of thousands of innocents in military actions.
What the hell is wrong with some of these societies? Killing is what we do best. String up the sob.

Unfortunately, madness is all round...Once a person is convicted of such a heinous crime beyond a shadow of a doubt, he should be executed!!!

Not with respect to this case but "beyond a shadow of doubt" is an interesting concept. There are and were many people on Death Row in the US conveicted beyond a shodow of doubt, susequently found innocent on new evidence!

We don't execute in the UK but surely this mad dog should be in jail for the rest of his life. Why should he be given hope of a release? What of the six he killed in cold blood?

I have a very simple solution to this apparently intractable problem; as punishment I would do unto the convicted felon what he did to his victim(s). If you believe in fairness, this is it; like it says in the bible "an eye for an eye!"

So if you execute omeone who you later find to be innocent, and there have been many, I guess we just say oops!

Because all you Europeans crow about how civilized you are compared to the US.And if you can't remember guns, your moniker is a misnomer.

Turn him over to the victim's family.

Well, think of how civilized Norway is. The killer of 77 received the maximum sentence of 21 years.

I just wonder why it can't be 21 years for each murder to be served consecutively....but that wouldn't be civilized.

Let's hope another inmate, during his stay, will bring him to justice.
