I really like this shot. I didn't notice the slopping horizon either, though if I had room in the shot I would probably straighten it.

I think you are wrong.
Perhaps the OP will be so kind as to post the original full image so that we can download it and make a conclusive determination of what editing/alteration has been done to it. If not... draw your own conclusion.
Very good! Nice capture. Watch your horizon as JR mentioned, an easy thing to overlook.
No need for me to add anything, a good shot is a good shot

Photoshop or not, it's still cool. We're allowed to Photoshop all we want here. No rules. I've known quite a few skateboarders in my day, and raised a guitarist, and I know they would love both your shots.
Amen! Photography is ART. Part of that ART can be photoshop abilities.

Agreed... if one admits it and informs the viewer that an image is a combination of several separate images and does not imply that the basic object elements of the image were captured in the camera.
There is a distinction between post-processing an image (hues, focus, saturation, even HDR, and so on) versus creating a new composition that never existed in a single camera frame.
Restated, your comment makes complete sense if an individual presents such a work as a rework/combining of multiple separate images in Photoshop and not of a single image captured by the photographer. Anything less is disingenuous and lessens the concept of "art" for all of us.

A slight "zoom in" on this image clearly reveals it to be a Photoshop (or equivalent) creation... the altered pixels are evident. Actually capturing the action would offer a more interesting and honest result.
I am genuinely interested in exactly what you mean.

Simply download the screen image (with Windows - right-click on the posted image, select Save Image As, select a download location, and then click on Save), open the file with any viewer, zoom in to about 150-200%, or so, and you will see the interrupted images / altered pixels around the perimeter of the skateboard and the feet/legs of the person. That indicates those elements have been manipulated and are not part of the original camera frame.
Let's ask the OP to kindly post the original unedited image from the camera such that we may download it.
Given that file, a more accurate examination may be performed and we can go from there. I will happily admit my error if that image shows my analysis of the low resolution post is, indeed, incorrect. Otherwise, I stand by my suggestion that the image you posted is a composite of at least two separate camera images.
This had been made black and white only, I have not faked the shot :)
I can supply the RAW image if need be

Yep, you did shoot this. As previously stated on this thread, if looking at the original image proved me wrong I would happily admit it -- it did and I do so.
