The P-40N Warhawk

My Daughter and I were lucky enough to be at the "Planes of Fame" Air Museum on Saturday to see the P-40 fly.

I used a Canon EOS XSi with a Sigma 150-500 lens. Shutter priority, ISO-100, SS-320 for prop blur.

Any tips or suggestion more than welcome

First you may arrange for a test ride, for me in the front seat.
Second, keep having fun, even without background, it looks exciting, I'll let the experts critique, but first let's just enjoy the history and memories conjured up.

Now if we could just have "Wild Blue Yonder" playing in the background.

It looks like you were up in the air taking the pic's.

Neat photo's, I almost feel like I'm inside the plane on that second one!

Thank you mccampbell, you can get a ride in the rear seat, the gentlemen in the rear seat won the ride in a raffle for members only. The museum raffles off the ride in whatever plane is being discussed that month. In April I was lucky enough to win a ride in the Stearman Kaydet, it was a blast, loved it.

I went to an air show about four years ago and now I am hooked on them and aviation history.

Thank you so much Gaylord, I truly wish I was up there with her. My dream is to someday be able to do some in-flight photo shoots, they are hard to come by.

This particular aircraft did see combat when she shot down a Japanese incendiary balloon off British Columbia.

The last one looks like you're flying beside it or it's a model airplane (from my ceiling as a kid). I'd try a few different croppings maybe taking some of the sky away from the left (behind) to see how it looks other than centered. I'd just be experimenting on an otherwise already great photo.
