How funny! This photo jut gave me a great idea (not what you are thinking!!) I hope they were in an out-of-the-way place.

I don't know what I was thinking until you mentioned it molly, now I can't get it out of my mind. They were in the darkness of the seawall, I only saw them because I almost stepped on them.

LOL I can't think of anything silly to say :-D Good shots, Gregory.

Not a good shot, they were in the shadow of a tall seawall, I tried to lighten it up a bit. Not every day you see snakes on the beach, and certainly rare to see them procreating

Watching a sunrise with someone you love and it can get romantic in seconds flat. I've heard or snake in the grass, never a snake in the sand. Do be careful. Nice capture.

Love it! I've never seen this sort of behavior by a snake.

I spent part of childhood in Central Florida, where we called them (strangely enough)... blacksnakes. They eat rodents and other small mammals, birds, and some other snakes; and are particularly fond of birds' eggs. Overall, they are beneficial, but you don't want to see them in your chicken coop.

Thanks for looking and for your comment Dixiegirl, that's ok, almost all of the silly things have been said already. It was a new one for me, it was very dark in the shade of the sea wall and I almost stepped on them, glad I didn't.

Luckily the are benificial snakes and they were allowed to have there time together on the beach, VietVet, I tried not to take any shots head on, so that they remain unknown, would not want to see them on a newspaper at the checkout counter of Publix
