Thanks Molly, they must work up quite an apitite because afterwards they eat the entire yard.

That's what the Lubbers do also-eat, eat, eat!! They lay their eggs in the dirt and when the little one start hatching it is by the 1000's! They start out black with a small yellow stripe and grow very fast. And, they have no natural predators. They emit a foul substance when harassed. Anything that mistakenly tries to eat them will quickly spit them out. And they get very big-about 3 inches long. They can defoliate a plant in hours. I used to try and grow vegetables, especially Okra. Right on the verge of being picked, they are eaten down to the stalk!

If you are talking about mine, I shoot with a 7D. I do believe these were with my 300mm and 1.4 TC. And thank you!

Not quite what you think. gregoryd45 just posted a photo of some snakes having sex. I also happen to have a couple of photos of our wildlife 'making babies'. I'm sure some of you do too. If so, please post them. Just remember-Let's keep it clean.

Very nice molly, good eye to see these. Sorry but I don't have anything to post, but I'll go out and look around

Chuckle. Suspected you were up to some deception there...

Glad someone mentioned snails? Can we then include slugs also?

Slugs deserve respect (and privacy) as they are among the...most romantic of creatures. In terms of durability at least. Perhaps even sultry of voice?

The devoted pursuer below is enthusiastically serenading a shy maiden he hopes to spend a whole long cold motionless evening with...

"Oh Solo Mio...!"

You have the Snakes. That's what gave me the idea for this thread!

How funny-long, cold motionless evening indeed!! That has to be a sight to see! And a fantastic photo that you took!
