I realize that perhaps at the risk of exhausting the subject, I have submitted too many photos of deer in my backyard, but due to the heavy rains in Florida, my uncut and untrimmed grass seems to be offering a quiet place for some of these beautiful animals to relax and graze.
For the technically minded, all three pictures were shot at the same settings: Nikon D700, Nikon 300mm f4.5, 1/200 sec, f/8, tripod mounted.

Nice shots. Thank you for the tech information. It helps. I'm trying to get more "sharp" photos and hearing how you guys get these shots helps. It has also cemented the notion in my brain that I need a good tripod.
