Amazing tribute to man's ingenuity an ability to overcome tremendous obstacles, beautifully captured.

Beautiful photo set, but distracting gift shop music.

I worked on the bridge, have a couple of hundred pictures. I wore a point and shoot on my tool belt...

Look at the video again and read the photographer's notes below the video. He is obviously nor a bridge engineer. The bridge is beautiful with no interfering superstructure to spoil the view. Great pictures - and great music!

I find it most interesting that the music of Evangelos Papathanassiou, who has won two academy awards for his music, who has been recognized by NASA and who has performed with the London Metropolitan Orchestra should be classified as "gift shop music"; that's like calling Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade "elevator music."

The new bridge over the Hoover Dam.

We didn't have occasion to visit the dam during construction... it was such a huge project it reminds me of the words... How can men build such things.

Anyway, if you have the chance to visit, it's well worth the time. There's a parking lot on the west end of the bridge and a walk up to the bridge and very wide protected walks along it for great views of the dam.
