Enjoying your W/S venture. I run a web-site for my cycling club (no artistic intentions) which is basically a chatterbox site & all the images can be shared. If you want to protect your images (i/e copywrite) it would be a suggestion to protect them with some protection software. I have bookmarked your site & looking forward to your endeavours. Kitcar [EDIT] Sorry - see that you have already done my last suggestion. Kitcar
Very, very nice work and website, Cheryl. You can always put a blurb in your bio about having people contact you if they wish to purchase your work. I especially enjoyed your night time images.
I am biting the bullet today. I have been working on a website. It is a free Weebly site with a domain name I got from GoDaddy. I got my first DSLR about 5 years ago and have no experience with a film SLR. I still feel pretty new to this type of photography.
Anyway, I need input from those of you who have websites and have been photographing for years. I have seen some of your sites with your wonderful photographs. I feel hesitant to share my work. I am proud of my progress, but I have so very far to go.
My husband is the one who encouraged me to create the site. I dont really expect to make sales form the site, but I want it to look as professional as possible.
Input! I need suggestions on how to make the free site better. I don't plan to move to a paid site any time soon. I also welcome input on my photography.
Thanks, Cheryl

Somebody named Cheryl has been hiding a lot of photo talent!
Hi Cheryl. I really liked the web-site. The photos are great, wonderful light and composition. They are definitely marketable. The pics loaded quickly and easily and it was easy to find the categories. I even pinned a couple of your images on Pinterest. I hope you don't mind? I figured you would get extra coverage by doing so. If you don't want them there, please PM me, and I will take them off immediately. Nice work!

Very nice photos, first of all. Next, I like the way the web site works. Picking a gallery and browsing through the photos works quick and easy. Not all photo web sites are so nice to use as that. I don't have any design suggestions, but wanted to let you know you have made a good start.
Great Site, Great photos. Only one mild criticism. My eighty year old eyes almost missed you navigation bar. Had to look really close. Maybe you could make the nav bar text whiter so that it lets old folks enjoy your talent.
Nice looking site Cheryl. I am not sure but you might like to check your gmail address on your home page. The spelling of Cheryl is Cherly in your email address.
Very, very nice, Cheryl. I hope I can put some of my stuff up soon, but yours is a quality site. I hope mine can tuern out as nice. welcome to the UHH. Again, good work.

kitcar, Thanks. What I did really won't stop a determined person, just slow them down. Cheryl

donnahde, Thanks. I really enjoy photographing at night, but with limited light, it is a real challenge. My favorites are first night, followed by the blue hour, sunrise/sunset and finally day shots. Cheryl
