Just received my first macro lens today, after seeing these shots I can't wait to get home from work so I can play. Thanks for a preview of what I have to look forward to achieving some day! Great shots!

....i took my Sony a55 coupled with my macro lens and got some more bee shots. It was great fun trying to catch them as the wind was so strong so i set the camera on continuous shoot and blasted away.

Hi angler
I just bought a Macro Lens and did the same thing, went out looking for bugs, found some bees at my mum's and started snapping, they were really difficult to capture in focus so you have done well, I only got two reasonable shots out of about 50, just posted them last night. :)

Cheers Pixel and thanks for looking it's really appreciated.Glad you liked them.Once you get used to your Macro lens and with a bit of practice you will get more and more positives,it's very addictive.I find if i have my camera set on autofocus continuous it helps a lot. Also try your faster shutter speeds i.e 1/1000sec just for a starter and try pick a nice sunny day.
