I was in myrtle beach last week and got some photos of the brookgreen gardens which are very beautiful and informative of the rice gardens and plantation life back then.
southern fox squirrel
flower in the brookgreen gardens
dragon fly
Excellent set! Believe the flower is a passion flower.
Thank you Kandy4you, and to all the other new users.
I particularly like this diverse set.
You have a good eye when it comes to composition, looking forward to many more images in the future.

Hi k4y :) and Welcome to the group :) It seems like Myrtle beach is a good place to go for wildlife diversity, nice set tfp
For those interested: Myrtle Beach is a coastal city on the east coast of the United States in Horry County, South Carolina. It is situated on the centre of a large and continuous stretch of beach known as the Grand Strand in north eastern South Carolina.
Myrtle Beach is one of the major centres of tourism in the United States because of the city's warm subtropical climate and extensive beaches, attracting an estimated 14 million visitors each spring/summer/fall..Who knows I may get to see it one day
I enjoyed your close ups, especially the dragonfly.
Robbie I really hope that you do it is the most amazing beauty in person. It was last year that I first got to see the ocean and it took me 44 years. I just stood there in such amazement and then when it was time to leave I just wanted to cry. It holds so much beauty to see the water reach to the horizon and the sun touches the water. I do hope that you do get to behold this beauty for yourself some time soon.

Thank you they are so cute when I was taking his photo he just sat there and turned his head side to side like he was trying to figure me out lol. I find them fascinating and here in Hinton they spray them so we don't see many
