I bought the Lens Effect as well and am having trouble using it. I looked at some of the tutorials and still not sure how to use it. I got frustrated with it and asked to "return" it for refund. I'm sure its just me and that I don't have the photographic artist knowledge to use it properly.

Love what it brought out in your light house. I like using Topaz, just got the Lens effect still trying to navigate my way through it.
Guess I need to look up some tutorials

I just got Lens Effects today for $29 with their current discount. I had tried the trial and liked it and I'm glad it was cheap bucks. I've only just touched the surface of the plug-in and can't wait to go in further.

I bought it for $29 as well. It seems to be over my head. Hope you have better luck with it.

Really like the picture of the lighthouse. Thinking of your desire to make it look spooky stired my creative juices. This is a combination of Topaz Adjust 5 to get the moody and dark picture. The lightning was added with Corel's KPT plugin Lightning. Then used Topaz ReMask to cut out a profile of the lighthouse so that most of the lightning appears behind the building. Most but not all heh heh (sinister laugh).

If you get used to a program like Topaz Adjust and spend time with it you'll see that most of what can be done there can be done on any photo editing software. Programs like Topaz Adjust isolate some of the actions that give a desired outcome with a lot of presets. The lighthouse pic I did can be done in any program....you just have to know the program good enough, know what each control will do and how to apply it. Topaz gives you presets from those programs to give you the outcome the program is designed for, plus more controls to adjust those presets. Much faster and easier !!!
