What a bunch of idiots. And yes I am being judgmental, just like them. They judge people based on a fairy story. I judge people based on that.

As a Christian, I've never heard of the Exodus organization. In fact, there are thousands of Christian organizationa I've never heard of, and most people have not heard of organizations I might choose to align with.

So, if this man, the President of Exodus, feels this is what he should do, then more power to him. Here are his actual words, so you can read them yourself and not just read the abbreviated newspaper article.

Every Christian, whether clergy or layman, is an imperfect sinner. Our leader, Christ, is the only sinless one. If a Christian feels the need to apologize to someone they feel they have offended, then that's between them as individuals, or as a group. It doesn't mean that other Christians, who are not part of the entities involved, should cast judgment either way.

If anyone ever finds a perfect church, don't join it; it won't be perfect after you join.

Mr. Wilson, I am troubled by your answer.
"It doesn't mean that other Christians, who are not part of the entities involved, should cast judgment either way."
To me that implies, and I could be wrong, that you are saying that if anyone says he/she is Christian, than no one should scrutinize what they are doing.
So, if someone started The Christian Baby Molesters Ministry, it would mean, "It doesn't mean that other Christians, who are not part of the entities involved, should cast judgment either way."
There were many churches and denominations that actively supported Hitler and the Nazis, both in Germany and here in the US.
I believe most Christians of the time felt as you stated, "It doesn't mean that other Christians, who are not part of the entities involved, should cast judgment either way."
If your Christian neighbor next door were to be observed beating his wife or molesting his children, I suppose you would also look the other way?
The term for ignoring responsibility is called "Washing Ones Hands Of It."
Back a few years, there was this guy called Pontius Pilate who did likewise.
Didn't the guy who was the victim of Pontius Pilate have something to say about "Being Our Brother's Keeper.
I personally would not wish to be thought of as was Pilate.

In case I am being too obtuse for you, as a Christian, I find it impossible to call myself a follower if I do not, at least, try to watch out for "the least among us."
Out leader also talked about doing and not just saying.

If I misunderstood your comment and am being too hard on you, I apologize in advance.

Apology accepted.

Now, here's a real case of "tolerance." And it has no religious taint to it. (Except for the mention of Jews and Catholics)

Seems like everybody is trying to be more "tolerant" than the next "tolerant" group, by being less "tolerant" of opposing groups. Where does it all end?

If you attempt to mention morality and politician in the same sentence then you are more than naive.
