I guess you could file this under the heading of "general rants" or "venting" but right now I'm very disappointed with the lack of customer support I'm getting from Topaz Labs after the second incident of having one of their filter programs go south.
the first time I had an issue they jumped all over it in an effort to resolve it but this latest debacle is now in week 3 with no resolution in sight. They do not have a dedicated customer service or tech support number so everything has to be done by email with sometimes as many as 3 days before a response is sent.
Has anyone else had this problem??
I think they are here in the Dallas/Ft Worth area...I may just pack up my lap top and pay them a visit....
Topaz Labs part 2...I just received an email from the alluding that my filter wasn't working because I didn't know how to download and place the code key, which I've done several times on other products...I replied that would be like me telling my client that their portrait didn't turn out well because they were ugly. Whatever happened to decent customer service?
Uninstall and reinstall...always works for me when software acts up. I have 3 Topaz labs filters...all working perfectly well, so it's not a software glitch.
Some times we get a faulty download. Try downloading the program again.
Bob....done that 3 times with no success...may be a computer problem but I have no idea where to start troubleshooting.
I think what really disappointed me was the attitude from Topaz labs....much different from my last dealing with them....any ideas appreciated
