I personally don't like the new Flickr so much bit I guess like everything else in life I will have to adapt to them rather than them to me.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/steve3049/Any criticism is welcome. I use a Sony A77 with, kit, 90mm Tamron Macro, 300mm telephoto and a 50mm prime
I am not thrilled with their new look. Maybe in time I'll get used to it. The only thing I like is the 1T of free storage. I have always had a free account where you were only allowed to upload a certain amount so I had to keep deleting things. Now, with all that storage I am mad that I had to delete all those pics.
Great shots Ernie - thanks for sharing.

Greetings, I did not like the previous look of Flickr (photo sharing site) but they have revamped it and it looks and works great.... and free of course. Any problem here at UHH with adding a link at the bottom of my posts? Thanks! Let me know what you think, I'm still adding new pics daily as it takes a while. And of course share your sites and experiences.

Hi Dan, thanks for the comment! Yes, we sure are neighbors. Let me know if you ever want to come down this way for the day. Your pictures are excellent! Love 'em.
Just to let you know...lol...I added you all to my friends....great shots...love them all. Interesting to see people perspective on things. Everyone has different tastes! If that offends anyone...please let me know....I just thought that we could all use encouragement and support while making new acquaintances!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/erniemisner/Very nice. It must be nice to wake up and have ultimate mountain and water scenes surrounding you every day that just beg to be shot!
I have been ignoring Flickr for quite a while now, but
due to this topic I will be more active!
A question though. Can and how do you view EXIF
data (if it is uploaded?)
Lots of interesting photos and sometimes that data
is useful especially for tricky shots.
Thanks, Scalawag
Hello my neighbor, Gwen. I love your photos and creative ideas! Thank you for adding me..... can't believe we are sooo close.
I don't think the EXIF data transfers over to Flickr. There is some info though like camera type.... maybe a bit more. Enlarge a photo then look at the info on the right hand side. Thanks for looking, blessings, Ernie
Great photos Ernie. I really like your compositions. It's nice to see another Seattle/Tacoma photographer posting. I live in the Tacoma area.
I tried Flickr years ago and at that time I didn't like their layout. I changed to Zenfolio and enjoy it.

If you click on the picture in question, a larger image will come up. On the bottom right hand side you will see 3 dots. Click on them & a sub menu comes up with additional items to do, including the EXIF info if it has been passed thru.
Thanks, Screaming Scott (fellow Texan, I'm your neighbor
in Marfa, and welcome to the site.)
My search methods are not very polished and I had just
seen that on the photo page you can scroll down to
"additional info" and click that as well.
Already have found some interesting info on certain
images.
Thanks again, scalawag
Hello Will, we are neighbors indeed! Your Zenfolio site is wonderful as are your images! I left you a comment there. Are you still working or retired? I retired from Nalley's when they closed the plant. Would you like to go do some shooting?
Rich and Greg, your Flickr and pBase sites are great!!!
