ABSOLUTELY KEEP! They look great by themselves But you could use them as texture layers to build another digital image. Very NICE!

Thank you very much FStop12. 8-)

Both keepers. I like the color one best. Love rust unless it's on my car. :-)

Gary Truchelut wrote:
both are good but I prefer the color shot as the color adds to the shot here. Keep 'em

I like the one with color best. It makes me wonder if it still works or if they've gone to some digital control now. It could even be used by a writer to spark a short story.

Thanks DraponsLady and yes it does still work. It was in an old greenhouse at an arboretum. 8-)

I prefer monochrome in this case because color version looks like selective color which I do not like.

Thanks for your opinion MMC. Although the first one may look like selective color I can assure you it's not. 8-)

Very interesting Bmac! Like #1 the best. Keepers for sure.

I like 'em both -- but really prefer the color rendition.

Color version ... the spash of rust makes the picture IMO.

rmalarz wrote:
They are both worth keeping. However, the very little touch of colour really makes the first one visually interesting.

They are both worth keeping. I prefer the the color because the rusting is more telling of its aging process. Maybe in a slideshow setting fading one into the other might be more dramatic.

Thanks for the tip. :)

You know that I will tell you true, when it comes to "keepers" and what to do. . .

First one, with the color and the rust - keep

Second one to the trash bin, and over the next 50 years, you will never miss it.
