Here are a couple photos of my two little hummingbirds. Just playing with various settings right now, getting back into the swing of photographing them. I do like to get them mid flight, but it was getting dark out. Cheryl

Thanks for your comments. Hey, I see you are from NC. Your avatar is it from the Outter Banks dune area? Just wondering, my son was stationed in Virginia Beach, VA and when we visited him, we drove there for a little mini-vacation. Beautiful area...but not in hurricane season. Cheryl

The Avatar was taken at Mesquite Dunes in Death Valley, but I do live on the coast of NC, on a little island called Harkers Island, around Beaufort, NC. The dunes are different here. As for hurricane season, it's not so bad, just a big wind....have been married to my husband for 28 years, so know how to handle a "big wind"....it comes, and it goes. :D :D
