I also think there is a color cast to the photo I like the one with the background changed but I think it is because the color cast is relieved some by removing the background

I just did this quick so it's not very good. But all I did was a little smudging in GIMP, so it gives a little different look. But you get the idea. Good luck.

With a bit of smudging :)

This is exactly as I would have cropped this picture. The attention is now drawn to your subjects and looks professional!

This is exactly as I would have cropped this picture. (The picture cropped with just the couch and no vignette) The attention is now drawn to your subjects and looks professional!

The cropped picture looks better.
11x114 is wrap-around panoramic paper.

BIIIIGGGGGGG improvement ---

Vignetting is not difficult to learn but mastering a vignette effect can always pop a photo taking the viewer where you want ...

move in closer without cutting off any body parts crop in camera, needs a bit more lighting on the face of the man sitting next to the blond he has almost gone racoon on you. Should have tried another photo with the men on the outside.

Is there any way to lighten up his face at this point. Just wondering? thanks

If you lighten the entire image, certain parts may be too bright. You can use the dodge and burn tool, or, choose a face or set of hands with the selection tool, and adjust the brightness/contrast in just the selected portion.

I used the selection tool to darken the head of a bald eagle. I tried to adjust the entire image, but the rest was too dark. It worked well.
