Lightroom 5 is available

Lightroom 5 has been release. I just upgraded and if you have a large catalog do the upgrade at night It took over 2 1/2 hours to upgrade, works fine

Just google "Lightroom 4 vs Lightroom 5" and you'll see the list, or you'll get hits for youtube video's showing the differences. I think, that they are significant enough to spend the 79.00 and upgrade (which I just did)

Check with Adobe if you just bought LR 4 you may be able to get LR 5 free

If you can wait, the price will come down at certain times for promotions. But probably not too soon.

The LR 5 I just installed on my computer is a beta and it is only good for 30 days. I could not find any free trials or other variations on LR5. Believe me, I am a veteran at finding free or trial software..
This beta was the only LR5 I saw and downloaded. Just did it, have not had time to look at it.

I was in the same situation with LR3 to LR4, I had LR3 for a month and then then LR4 released. I got LR4 for free.
