GG, both are nice shots... I am thinking about what to put in those upside down glasses...hmmm

RR, looks like a very peaceful place to drink a glass of beer

Song, rose point glass is beautiful. You have been very creative in your thinking

Thanks Sher :)

With all the beer bottles you are showing I am begining to wonder about your sobriety. You have some wonderful shots and I can tell you are working hard to get it right.

LOL

Too early for wine bottles but I'll tell you I'd like to try pouring wine into a wine glass on that glass top table while it is raining. Those clear bottles are are nearly 100 years old.

LOL

The first pic is well done and the softness of the image I personally feel adds to it. The second one make me want to know what it is.

edgorm, the lawn globe is my pic. The reflection in the globe illistrates how reflections can add to the scene. I don't think the image would be as poignant with out the reflection. Good job.

We have come to a new challenge, and as fate would have it I get to start you off on a new adventure. Glass can be a photographer's nightmare and yet when done well give a sense of real accomplishment. This is going to be another lesson in seeing, or as Sherlock Holmes would say “in the power of observation”. Keep in mind that glass reflects everything, however in this challenge it should only reflect what enhances the picture. Look closely at the item and insure only the reflections that you see are the ones you intended to be there. There are several good videos on YouTube about this subject. Here is one link that shows you how to do it without expensive equipment and what to look for during setup. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlQwt7_ZXKg
As always have fun and keep in mind I will be watching. Here are a few to get you started.
