It is not even skin. It is the edge of her top. It's OK though, a little crop makes everyone happy!
I like the cropped version best. Very good shot. Cheryl

Malfunction? Where? I think it should have been cropped an inch higher at the top to include her whole head.
as you look at the pic on the right just below the black top there is a slight ma;function I believe. But I agree with the cropping totally just my opinion
you do very nice work!! wish I wasn't so shy about photographing people. Plus my wife would fuss and cuss at me for photographing women.

Thanks Mickey, I love photographing people. You should try it! What's the worst that can happen? My husband does not seem to mind me photographing beautiful women. I am not sure why. LOL ;)
Lovely picture and model,great job.
Kay your photo is very nice. I would have added a catch light in her eyes in pp. This is my favorite type of work.
Michael :D :D
I guess I'm an old fashioned guy and like the entire head in a portrait. The cropping is OK but perhaps the whole head with about two inches below the collar bone.
Have you tried that?
Others may think differently but the right eye seems a little too much in shadow to me. But, that is a matter of taste.

Working on getting this right. This is more of a processed shot than I usually work with. Beautiful young woman!
I'm new to the site and just discovered your photo. I think it could be on the cover of Vogue. Don't change a thing. Thanks for sharing.
