Not really sure what type birds these are other than they sure liked the water. Their antics were fun to watch and try to capture.

We see lots of them around here. The other day they were on the road side and as we drove by they were not scared. The babies are pretty funny looking.

Yes indeed they are American coots however the bird that is flying is a Cormorant. Depending on your location the bird is probably a Double-crested cormorant.
