Any one out there who has the Olympus and has used the multiple-exposure feature? I read the relevant page of the manual (p. 62) 3 times and still can't seem to get it right. Help.

Page 111 tells you where on the menu to find this feature.
Then on page 62, it seems to detail what to do in the menu:
Frame, Auto Gain and Overlay. Look at both the table and the screenshot of the menu.
The first item in the table, Frame, doesn't seem to give an option, just set it to 2f (highlight Frame in the menu, then press either the arrow button or OK button).
Auto Gain and Overlay can be set to On or Off - the table explains what happens either way.

There is some more information about shooting overlays in raw on page 73.

I don't have this camera, so can't try it out for you. I'm going strictly by what the manual says.

What I have done in the past, when the information in a manual became too overwhelming and started to look like Greek: Take a piece of paper and pen, and write down the steps in your own words. Leave two lines of space between each step, so that if you have to flip to another page in the manual, you can write more "between the lines".

It sounds like a fun feature to have, although I must say, you can do the same thing in PP with much more control.

I suggest you check the u43 website. They have a dedicated Olympus section. You can do a search or ask your question, and I guarantee you'll get a quick and straight answer. Good luck.

Thanks, rhyde. I found the site, but haven't yet figured out how to start a new thread (i.e., ask a question??).

Look under FAQ/Rules. It's about the fourth question down.
