This is a satire piece as noted by the second and third people to leave a comment. Could have been written by winterrose :D :-D it's that clever
Just shows that now matter what, if it's written there are those that will give it credence, no matter how silly. BTW belongs in Rubbish..
As much as I dislike him, it seems the article was satirical. It wouldn't surprise me, however.
I went to Wikipedia to see who this guy is and found that "john machaffie
NESARA- REPUBLIC RESTORED - Galactic News
i am is at the doors"
Is unheard of. Nobody knows nothin'
sbesaw is correct this belongs in Rubbish..
Got news for you. It happens at every level of government. Republicans, Democrats, ect ect.
Correct!! It is political satire. Congrats.

and that doesn't make it acceptable...those others are just as reprehensible as Obummer would be if he did this.
That's not a sound argument for Obummer...
But again...this was just satire...so it doesn't matter.
I've been unemployed for over four years now. I refuse to go on welfare. No one in my family has ever done it & I won't set the precedent. I've been draining my 401K taking HUGE hits on Federal & State taxes. I put in for job after job and either get turned down (probably because of my age (56) or the position is terminated (I'm a chemist with an extensive background in coatings, QC, manufacturing, customer & vendor audits).
Last year, the company handling the pensions for one of my former employers sent me a letter saying they were divesting much of the pension account and I took it as a payout (I could have rolled it over into another IRA but being unemployed, I'm wondering month-to-month where the money is going to come from). I find out from HR Block this is considered income which seems to me like double dipping.
To add insult to injury, the woman doing my taxes tells me I'm in a 28% tax bracket (unemployed) while Obama, making $650,00+ (declared-who knows how much on the side) is in a 15% bracket!!! And this is fair???
I hope the IRS FRIES when this is all over.
All raises must be approved by Congress. This is horseshit....I don't mind that you do not like the President. However, I do mind if the reason you give is a lie.....
Here is a little bit of history of POTUS pay rates.
Date established
Salary Salary in 2012 dollars
September 24, 1789 $25,000 $673,451
March 3, 1873 $50,000 $992,777
March 4, 1909 $75,000 $1,954,850
January 19, 1949 $100,000 $967,315
January 20, 1969 $200,000 $1,254,610
January 20, 2001 $400,000 $519,979
As you can see the current compensation for the position is actually the lowest in real value it has ever been. The first figure is the salary and the second is what it would be in current money.
Yeah. I wondered how long it would take you to wade in on this. Based on your knee jerk reaction,
I'm not surprised that you evidently didn't read the entire thread.

I understand completely. Have you considered relocating. As someone who is about your age and originally from Carnegie, Pa may I suggest you consider leaving the burg.

I've applied all over. There's finally light at the end of the tunnel. At the end of the month I'm headed to South Korea for a face-to-face. This is after a Skype interview that lasted about two hours. If it works out, it will be a contract job that lasts about six months but they'll likely up it for 1-2 years. After that, I may be optioned out for more. Money is GOOD!
