The head looks appealing to me but the body is a little too soft for my taste. Love that kitty's eyes.

Thank you, Photophile. Appreciate hearing your opinion. I didn't quite know how to handle the body in this one. Couldn't come up with a satisfactory crop to get rid of it, and couldn't paint out the really fuzzy part without making the whole thing look bad. So I left it.
I'm sure there's a way to fix it, I just don't have the answer yet, lol.
Both Bumpy and his brother, Martian, have beautiful blue eyes. Depends on the light, but they're really eerie at times.
Thanks for looking!

Lovely shot. He/she looks ethereal. Is this guy the owner of the eyes in your avatar?
Thank you, Vicki. Might work as an illustration for some fantasy novel, as it's certainly unreal.
Actually his brother, Martian, made my avatar, but either would have worked, lol. Bumpy just doesn't sit still long enough to get a good straight-on shot of his eyes. Martian is much more cooperative in that regard. : )
Thanks very much for looking. It's always appreciated!
I would say this is very nice. It might be a scooch over done but it's hard to tell without seeing a few with different variances. All in all its a really nice photo!! :D :D

You always capture the eyes so well

Great shot Treepusher, love the effect, as always, you caught the eyes to perfection, and the it almost a 3D feeling

Thanks for the positive vote, Michael. I did actually drop the saturation, didn't like it as much. The softness I think works, but it's really pushing the border between art and photography. If there is a border, lol.
Thanks very much for looking! Always appreciated!

Lol, very diplomatic, Rlaugh. : ) This one's way worse than the last one! But I'm learning with each one, so that counts for something.
Appreciate the thumbs, and seriously, thanks both for looking and the comment.

Thanks, Gregory. The voting is running slightly against, but I'm liking the direction these admittedly rudimentary efforts are taking me. This one's getting close, and sooner or later, I'll get one of these right.
Thanks very much for the kind words, I do appreciate it!
love it!!!

I'm not quite sure how I feel about it either...but...it certainly accentuates those beautiful blue eyes!
Like it. Beautiful shot of beautiful cat. My cat is sitting in frontof me now waiting for breakfast.
I Love it. It has a great emotional appeal.
Thanks
