I came across a Sigma lens that I'm not sure what it fits. It is a Sigma zoom (with k 3 in roman numerals) 1:3.5-4.5 f= 75mm-210mm.The size is 52mm. It also has macro setting. The number 1040761 is also on the side. It has a vivitar MC Tele converter with it.(2x PK-A/R-PK) I would just like to know if someone could help and tell me what it is compatible with. I tried to google it but came up with nothing. It's fairly new and is in very good condition. Couldn't get pics to upload.

Post a bigger file in JPEG format, please.
You have a tiff.

The "PK-A/R-PK" on the teleconverter tell me that's probably for a Pentax K-mount.

Looks like and smells like a Pentax K-mount to me.
I haven't seen one in a long time though, so don't take my word for it.

Very different mount.
Nikons have a deep lens flange to film plane distance.
You see Canon shooters with Nikon lenses ( with adapters) because they don't need an optical element to focus to infinity. Not so the other way around.

Will go way out on a limb and suggest it fits a Canon FD.

It looks similar to the Pentax K mount, but the lugs look shorter, more like the Olympus OM mount. Sigma has always made lenses to fit all the major camera manufacturers so its really hard to tell without a body to try to mount it on.
Here is a website I sometimes use to ID lens mounts in the store.

Thank you for the website. Non of those looked exactly the same. It's hard to tell.

Wolf might be a good place... if you can find employees older than the lens.
Have you a camera repair shop in town?

I see you are in Alabama. Ace Camera in Mobile used to be a good shop. There was a Wolf Camera in Birmingham last time I was there too. I don't know if you are near either of those cities though.

"PK-A/R" indicates a Pentax/Ricoh compatible mount (see the discussion under "Warnings" at http://www.robertstech.com/compat.htm ).

I am about 45 minutes from Trussville AL which is on the outskirts of Birmingham. There is a wolf shop there. Mobile is way to far.
