Hello and welcome to UHH. Nice photo, but the wall needs to be straight, leaning to the left.

Welcome to this site. May your stay be fun and fruitful. Having your images critiqued is a great way to improve your photography. But you also need to read, look at a lot of other photographers' work and shoot, shoot, shoot.

Welcome to the Hog......enjoy your stay.
Yea! my very first critique. Woohoo i'm such a lucky duck. Thank you for that, I didn't realize the photo was angled until you said something. Reckon' i need to get some kind of level to put on my tripod to know when things aren't as level as they should be. Another person from P'cola. nice to meet you and to know i'm not the only one here from such a beautiful place.

Hi Alan. Welcome to the hog. You have chosen the best blog to become a member of. We are here for you. Im glad someone mentioned about keeping the camera level. But if you cant, then at least when you upload to the computer, im sure you will have the capability to level your photo built into your photo storage area. So, ask lots of questions, post more pictures, BTW, your first post is very good, though I think standing back just 2 feet would have gotten the whole phrase including the quotes in the picture.

If you don't shoot so tight, you can crop and balance a slight tilted picture. It is a capture that will give feeling to many of us. Many members liked to support our hero's and like American scenes. You will fit well. Ask for and accept advise and you will learn. I am learning every day. David
Welcome to UHH, Alan. You are sure to have a good experience here.

Thank you Meives, I never thought of cropping the photo. I'll give that a try. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
