Hi UHG forum.
Here's 2 of my latest shots, comment will be much appreciated.
Both were taken with a Lee Big Stopper and both were 60 second exposures.
On another note, the exif data for the pier shot says on 1/30s but I know that's wrong.
These were taken with a D7100, anyone else had this issue, its not the first time I've noticed this.
Much respect Moggey

Both are amazing photographs, quality is top rate, the only comment I can offer is that the top one with the end light! being cut in half by the horizon is a little, annoying, personally I would perhaps just leave the lead in, of the 2 I prefer 2
I have looked again, 2 is just superb

Great shots Moggy...please tell me more about how you shot these with a 60 second exposure...were they in the dark or with an ND filter, etc?
I'm going out tonight with my photography group to do a night shoot, light trails, etc, any tips are welcome...Lee Big Stopper..?
Cheers,
Ron.
I would normally head straight for shot 2, but the first one should be called "everything went right today" stunning, colours, composition, serene. More please. JJ
Hi moggey!
I love the leading lines - great composition!
Picture #1 has a dust spot in the upper left hand quadrant of the sky, and another below it just off the beach. Easy fix with healing brush in Adobe Elements or Photoshop.
Great job! Great eye!
Thanks for sharing!

Doesn't bother me as much, (top pic) but maybe if the horizon level were raised a little...it would cut the light post in a better spot, but then might not show the post tops as well then....
I still like it.

I'm just being picky, the photo is so good just looking at the little bit

Actually, looking closely...I think the horizon hits in a good spot between the two lighter colors on the light post. That's just my 2 cents for what it's worth. :-D
