You can keep ALL the snow up your way!!!! If we get any it will be here until March/April. I would like some (maybe 1" for Christmas). We really need some for the moisture though. Everything is really dry. Saw a fellow out in the field disking & the dirt & wind made it look like fog, dirt just blowing away! So on 2nd thought, after the New Year send some down! It should melt in 60 days!!!!

hammer - any idea where you were in KY? Kinda looks like the road going from Bardstown to Etown. Love the old timer

Janice, I'm not sure exactly were we saw that fire truck, but checking the time sequence on the photo properties it was after we left Maker's Mark distillery, headed to Cave City, meandering on back roads, and after a picnic lunch at Abraham Lincoln's early home site. Another kicker to the quandry of where we were is that was shot on my wife's camera, and we're not sure the time setting on hers and mine are exactly syncronized. Funny I never thought of doing that before. Now I know I should sync all camera time settings for a trip, memory being what it is at this age and I'm sure it's not going to get any better, but it could help us unravel a similar quandry in the future.

Anyway it was probalby within 50 miles of the Lincoln place on a road going S, W, or SW going to Cave City for the night.

Oh joy the modified hearse. I'm glad those aren't used anymore. The first department I belonged to had one of those. If someone wasn't holding that back door the wind would close it on you.

Oh wow. I didn't know that. Thanks for that information.
