Like them both but on second look will take the black and white, I find the grass to bright and distracting in #1

Thanks Creativ Simon. Seems several folks do not like the bright spring grass. 8-)

Thanks, not bad at all!

These are the types of photographs that drive me batty because there are so many ways to process them. One could spend a lifetime manipulating images of old houses and barns. But......so many things to photograph and such little time. :D

Here is a synopsis of the comments so far, for anyone interested.

16 people liked the b&w better.
13 people preferred the color.
4 people felt the grass was too green in the color photo.
3 people wished the walls of the house were straightened.
3 people wanted the contrast increased on the b&w.
1 person desired a sepia version.

Some folks expressed that they liked them both equally.

Thank you everyone for the comments and suggestions. I am sure I will try out some.

I think the B&W is the winner here. The contrasts keep me looking at the photo over and over. Well done! Thank you for sharing.

I like the B&W the best. The grass is too green and the sky is too blue for the poor old house.

I'd have to go with the color picture on this one
