Thanks Danilo. Yes, I noticed the outer edges of the smaller photo. I am just learning Photoshop Elements 11. Trying to extract just part of the photo to use was pretty trying for me. Thanks for your input!
Thanks laugh! I'm a work in progress with Elements 11. There's a lot to learn!
Thanks colo43. I appreciate you taking the time to view the photo!
Thanks Joyfullee! I was afraid maybe the first one didn't have enough impact, but I was also concerned that the second one might be a little too 'busy'!
Thanks Sdaupanner! I'm sure you agree that these works of 'art' take a lot of time, especially when one is learning!
Thanks Habdab! I appreciate you taking a look at my photo!
Thanks Vooda! Actually, I started with more of the rider outside the frame and thought it to be out of balance too much, but I do see your point. Maybe if I had done something else with the frame at the same time I would have like it better! Thanks again for your help!
Thanks Dusty3d! I see your point. Thanks again!
Thanks Jack! I used Photoshop Elements 11 out of bounds feature to get the main shot, then extracted another shot and shrank it to insert at the bottom left. The idea was to tie the practice to the result, but may have made the photo too 'busy' by adding the little shot! Thanks again pal!!

This is my first attempt at OOB. Always fun to try something new! Which one is better? Practice wins ribbons! In the second photo I tried to show the relation between practice and ribbons!
You're both doing well, it seems.
Thanks Michael! We are all learning from each other at UHH. Although, me as a beginner, learn much more from the great photographers that post on UHH. Thanks again!
I think the first one is best...never was much into the sport, so really don't care about ribbons.

Thanks for your input Wildspirit. I think the first one has a much cleaner look to it also. Thanks again!
Like what you did on #2. Great idea.

Thanks DogBolter! I was trying to tie the two things together. Not sure it didn't make it too busy though. Work hard and sometimes my Granddaughter may win ribbons. She really enjoys riding and jumping!
