Tuesday is the day to look over the past week's shots and choose ones you think are your best. Thank you, Peanut, for helping me out as a cohost. Did you learn something new from the challenges? Post an example. Is there something else you shot that you really liked? Show us; bet we'll like it too. Can't wait to be "hit" by your best shot(s) , Or, if you are old enough to remember Rowan and Martin's "Laugh in" - "sock it to me, baby!"
I did something I've been thinking of doing for a week or so and figuring how to set it up, do it, make it interesting. There are several in the series all based on one object...
Took my porch rocker across the street where the hay is getting high.
Then, added a basket of lilacs...
and a "frilly" blouse
Draped the blouse and zoomed in
Next I added a real "Maine" touch - LLBean "bean boots"
Bean Boots are "cool" - even with white rockers, and frilly blouses
Real cool - hardly a Mainer who doesn't have a pair.
I've been told I'm "off my rocker"
And I ended with this...
This would be my funniest shot of the week...
"I told you I did NOT want my picture taken!"
Pat I love love love your rocker and boots series. Made me smile and the cow, well I just laughed right out loud. Great photos, thank you and Peanut for hosting!

Nice shots Pat. One I would have liked to see is a lot more of the field around the rocker. Maybe the rocker in the left or right third of the picture, turned slightly to the left or right.

p1 Thanks, Cricket. I had fun doing it in spite of the black flies etc. I thought about for a few days
So glad you liked it. The Longhorn is MIcah's favorite brand of cattle at the moment. That one looked so funny ! Sort of like Mr. Ed the talking horse!

Thanks, Rufe, appreciate the comments. I did have some of those and just couldn't put them all in. ALso had to be wary of background - road, another tree line. I did have some from the back too - about 40 shots altogether. I may post some more tomorrow.
Sorry, too busy to do this Tuesday so I will slip this in tonight.
In my yard.

Judy, such a cool shot! I like it a lot! The truck looks like it is peaking.

She's really telling everyone about the crazy lady carrying a white chair across the road and setting it in the middle of a hay field of all places, and then taking pictures of the darn thing :!: 8-)
