I don't see a way on this forum to set up a recommendation or user poll on camera bags. Wanting a nice shoulder bag with easy access to my camera.
Have looked at the Domke, Tamrac and Temba. Not sure about the metal clips on the Domke. Looks like it might be cumbersome to unhook top while on your shoulder.
Any and all insight to a great camera bag would be most appreciated from a new user.

I think you just did what you wanted to do. Wording the title something like "Recommendations for a Camera Bag" would have been more clear.
The problem with camera bags is there are too many choices, and no matter what you buy, you will buy another eventually. I've used Think Tank and Lowepro, mainly. When you narrow it down to a particular model, red the reviews and ask for opinions here.

*poll?????
You just opened the floodgate for bag recommendations. Hang on, you're in for a bumpy ride.
I see it's for film or digital. Very clever of the designers. :D
Duh, sorry about that. And here I am critical of others about their spelling. Double Duh!!!

Port St. Lucie, FL Great Club and field. 1000' runway in grass with irrigation system to keep it green. That plane is a 42% Edge 540 of a real 540 Edge. 122" wing span. Gotta love it!!!
Think tank, extremelyy well made and designed

I love my Lowepro Passport Sling. I take it everywhere and can pack a lot into it. My only complaint is that when I have my 70-300 lens attached I can't seem to lay it in there as nicely as I would like. But it is a great bag.
Welcome here juice. If you take a look at the search facility at the top of the page you'll find a host of answers, so many in fact that you'll be totally flummoxed! Best thing to do is go in a brick and mortar store and see for yourself.Take in what you think you'll need the bag to carry and see what they have to offer. So many here have ended up with 2 or 3 bags at least, and as the song goes, still haven't found what I'm lookin' for.
Think tank Airport security for the full kit. Tamrac for inbetween and Lowpro for 1 camera 2 lenses day trip. As long at the 100-400 fits. My husband has inherited many other bags that I thought would work. It's a very personal thing.
