Shooting on the Edge

h2 Loc: Glasgow, Scotland.
 
This was taken in in very stormy conditions.
Waves were crashing right over the dyke and eventually this guy left after being soaked.
Just as well or he could easily have been swept into the sea.

The guy on the dyke is what brings this picture to another level. Besides giving the wave a sense of size, it gives the scene a sence of drama. It appears that the wave is looking to catch him and draw him into the ocean. The slightly underexposure also adds to the drama. Nice job!

Cheers Larry. Was shooting with an old 180mm prime and that was way close enough for me - I'll save my dips for the local heated pool.

Cheers all.
As has been said, shot is nothing without the silhouette of the kamikaze tog.
Tried to make as dark as I dared as I felt a sihouette of tog would add more drama.
Was on the lookout for him as he made his way back to have a wee chat, but he high tailed it out before I could catch up. Expect he was in a rush to get out of his soaked clothes.
