Hi I was steered to this site my a friend who also enjoys photography, she thought I would enjoy what you all have to offer.
I love taking photo's but I have no real skills in that regard. I recently purchased a Nikon D5100 and would love to learn more about how to take advantage of all it has to offer. Right now I am simply getting accustomed to the lenses, and settings it has as well as all the extras. I'll attach a few photo's I have taken just as part of my introduction. Thanks for creating this site, I look forward to learning a lot!

Welcome to the hog RE. Im sure that you will find we are a great group of people who share a common disease.....photography. It is an on-going type of disease. Once you contract it, there is no cure. So, make some friends, ask questions. Post images like the ones you posted. (the bottom one, yosemite, is really good) and enjoy....
