It has been brought to my attention that we are having WAY too much fun on this Macro forum, and WAY too much knowledge is being freely shared. Certain outside parties have asked that we ease-up on our quantity of excellent submissions, and even par-down the quality, as we are making all the other forums look bad. You know who you are. Don't make me post a list!

Don't say that. I just ordered a 13mm, 21mm and 36mm lens extension set. I might get into some closer than close up photography with my Nikon D50 soon.

Yeah, you passed along the "virus".
Yes so much good info on the site would be hard not to "get better" and a lot of it thanks to Douglas. I have some medical issues so haven't been able to shoot any Macro or much of anything lately. But good news I still visit and enjoy this site looking at all the excellent macro.

Bugs refuse to show themselves yet, as winter just doesn't seem to want to go away :)
I been looking at the pic on here and I have to say I don't like bugs of any sort, BUT.....I never knew bugs were so interesting. The detail I have seen is incredible! I've shown some of the pics to friends and they were blow away also. I don't think I'll ever start taking pics of bugs but I will continue to enjoy looking at the pics in the Macro section. Don't reduce the quantity or quality!
