You did a great job with both the original and the painted version. Nice work.

If you like 'painting' your photos, you might want to take a look at Topaz Simplicity. Easy to use, offers a multitude of presets to work from, and lots of fun. They offer a thirty-day free trial, too, and discounts from time to time. Topazlabs.com. I use it liberally. You might enjoy it.

Thanks Treepusher for the comment. Glad you like them. I will take a look at the Topaz Simplicity. Sometime when you have a good photo but it is a bit out of focus I think they can look good painted and it savers your photo. Thanks for the info. :-D

Beautiful...love the effect. If I may ask....what and where is the "mixer brush"? I use PSE10...do I have one?
Thanks.

Thank you Hollyak I am glad that you like it. The mixer brush is in Photoshop CS6 and it acts like a paint brush that an artist would use. There are different types of artist brushes that you can change and you can move the brush like an artist if you have a tablet and pen so it enables you to do different strokes. A small box comes up to show the brush you are using and how you are tilting it. It is also in CS5. I do not think it is in PSE 10 it would be in the paint brush box if you have it. Look in your help section and search for mixer brush. Let me know how you get on.
