Well, a while back a few friends and I decided to build our own pinhole cameras and try them out. My two best shots are attached.
I took the first one from my patio - which lead one of my friends to call it "Lazy Picture". So I went "downtown" in our village and took a challenging shot uphill of our church.
It was fun, but I prefer to use my Olympus E410...

I also took the plunge and bought the Holga Pinhole that is mentioned in the linked article. Below is one of my pinhole shots. I love the soft focus especially, but I have to say I love the whole image. Taken with 5D II.
Very nice! We decided to use b&w because we wanted to go "back to the roots" of photography...
The top shots look very "Bavarian". All very nice shots. I like the effect. Very "dreamy".. Do you have any info on shutter, iso. etc? What time of day, as I don't see any "ghosts" moving through the outdoor scenes. What mode was the camera in? Did you just "fire and adjust" or did you use the camera's exposure control?

The photographic art is so wonderful with so many ways of creating. What a wonderful site. I teach my students to look beyond the norm and see the challenge of true creativity. Photography has so many ways of expressing.
That was the objective...
