You have a good eye here so stay the course and stay bold.
"same old tree" meaning, you take shots of it all the time?
'Cause I don't see anything same-ol', same-ol' about it!
FAB :)
That's an awesome ole tree and the photo is fabulous! What kind of camera did you use? Great shot!

I will return the the same locations multipul times and always get something new. Good to be on UHH and wish i could uhh do better.
is this perchance an HDR image?
Yes, it is a overcooked HDR....But I don't know that much about HDR yet, so I experiment. I need to tame down the results. A little practice may help. Still, it's fun doing different things with the camera. Thanks for asking, Kenny. Jim
Pathfinder,
I'm relatively new, but I see a lot of HDR images which to my untrained eye looked to be over cooked. Some even take a cartoonish look. The HDR you've shown us, in my opinion, is an example of what HDR is all about. It shows off the photography in a beautiful way. It is my philosophy that the actual photograph is the thing to be admired. I sense we should Photoshop things simply because we can. I don't think that's the right approach.
I think you're on the right track!

So much more life in Pathfinders photo. Think I arrived too late for the same lovely feeling I got with his picture. Here is what the Coast of Maine does to some of our trees.
Don't move, it seem's to be good, then it's good.
Just when did this site come on line? looks pretty new to me ... hummm you think this is the edge of something good
