can someone please help me i need to know how i can quickly adjust my sutter speed won my Nikon D80

camera was given to me without a manual but thanks for your very helpfull idea anyway

Check on line, you probably can down load one, or check Amazon for a book on the camera.

Well....I found the manual....mine is a Canon....can't help you.

I saw on one of the pages how to set shutter speed....using camera in Manual Mode....but that camera is a LOT different than my Canon !!!

Rotate the Mode dial to "S" (Shutter), or to "M" (Manual), then turn the main dial (below the shutter release button.

go to your camera menu, then CMS setup,select full,then go to your custom settings,scroll to the Fn button, and select ISO there.

go to your camera menu, then CMS setup,select full,then go to your custom settings,scroll to the Fn button, and select ISO there. Then you will be able to change the speed quickly with the Fn button, without having to go back into the menu.

Um, how does programming the Fn button to ISO help him change the shutter speed?

OP: For shutter speed, I think you use the thumb wheel on the back (main command wheel), while the aperture is changed with the one on the front (sub-command wheel).
