Isn't a shame??? I sold a 500C about 3 weeks ago with 2 lenses, 3 backs and some other tidbits. Had everything from $100 to $850 - Took the $850 and considered myself lucky. Also placed an RB67 with 3 backs, 2 lenses, prism, etc. etc. Not even a sniff - Sad-Sad-Sad, eh?
Sam story with a Leica R8.I kept the 4 lens that I had. Sold the body for 200.00 then sold my Canon and all lens and bought a leica digital body Owned a hasselblad wonderful camera. What is an RB67

Mamiya RB (Revolving Back) 67 (2-1/4 X 2-3/4)
Solid old professional workhorse - google it.
Seems like today if it isn't the unit just announced yesterday (C-N-S or whatever brand) then it cannot possibly be a worthwhile tool for a photographer to be using, eh? Sad-Sad-Sad
the problem is thats all over priced gear that you can get the same thing done with a good canon or others. so why pay the high prices when you can get the job done for less?
Maybe some will want to just say they have one lol.
Good luck in this veture.

??? What is overpriced gear? The old standby cameras in discussion??
Still have the RB, Georgia?
Can one buy a digital back for the hasselblad or the Mamyia RB ?
What a sensor that would be.

Its not over priced any more ,there giving it away, almost compared to what it cost new. Its a waste of time unless your a die hard , printing black and white in a dark room . Or turning your film neg's to digital . It cost more to buy a roll of 120 or 220 get it developed , printed than it cost to go out and
Shoot a thousand pic . Put them on a disk or a slide show picture frame, jump drive etc, i have a pentax 645 , three lens $500 each a big sun flash with three heads , ring light , filters , holders polourizers , cost $5000 used it for two frends weddings shot ten rolls of 120 and 220 each wedding have two backs for it . I cant get $500 for it Its like new.
