Your photos have good quality, but you need to do what I had to learn to do, and that is, to keep the subject off center. It really does make for a more interesting photo. The first 3 are fabulous. The umbrella pic is too far away; zoom in to make the umbrella more the subject. You have a good eye; keep it up.

I loved the girl on the beach and the umbrella photo on the beach as well. The shells are a great close up but to me I felt like they were upside down. I don't know perhaps turning them around would help. But good photos all around.
I debated which shell on top. This is the great thing about personal pref... and you are right. I like this better as well today but not when I posted it - go figure.
I am new on this site, so if I don't get everything posted correctly be patient. Your image of the sunspots on water is almost there, but needs a more dramatic treatment. I downloaded a copy and did the following adjustments in Paint Shop Pro. First; I cropped the image to get the horizon line level. Second; I used a levels adjustment layer - black point set at about 48 - middle grey set set at about 160 - white point set at about 212. On the adjustment layer I painted the sun spots using the air brush with black material to mask these spots from the levels adjustment layer. Third; I finished with a HSL adjustment layer to adjust the saturation of the blues and reds. Hope this helps you.
My favorite is number 2. Tells a short story. Nice
To answer your question Y E S !!. Keep shooting.

Sorry - intended to post to another thread. I think my brain stays in neutral or reverse most of the time...
