This is like the 3rd time now.
It was good for me! This happens up to 4X's a minute between breeding Cardinals. The male continues to feed the female through the egg-laying and incubation period. Appropriately, It's called mate feeding. They also counter sing, one starts trilling and the other completes the medley. They not only mate for life, they stay together year around, unlike others who just reunite for breeding. I'm sure you'd never guess they are my favorite birds!
Sensational shots! Love, love, love them!
Can I use the next to last one on my 50th anniversary slideshow in six years?
Great shots Trainkc!!! Love them!
