Paul2you

I am not an expert photographer and never will be. BUT I was the only picture framer in a picturesque town for many, many years. I framed literally thousands of pictures over those years. Photographs, Water-colours, oil paintings, pastels, acrylics, pencil drawings, pen and ink drawings, needlework, tapestries, silks, models, wedding bouqets, babies first rattles, articles of clothing, foootball shirts, other sporting articles, babies first pair if shoes. You name it, I framed it. As well as this bespoke picture framing, I bought in thousands of prints, art work etc etc. Paul2you, you give it a bash. If the dreaded JR1 doesn't like it (what would you expect from such a horrible individual), so what? not many like him anyway so he accounts for nothing. Someone said beauty is in the eye of the beholder, also, one mans eyesore is another mans pleasure. As a buyer for my business, I soon found out that there is a huge demand for local scenes, including, photographs and many types of art-work. I soon realised and learnt that just because it didn't appeal too much to me, it wouldn't sell. If I was still in business and in your area I would buy your pictures, have some in a browser, frame some of them up cut mounts for some, it sets them up and makes them more saleable, put on an attractive display with a paragraph or two about your-self. There is only criticism from one individual again as in the 3D thread. Is it jealousy or is he just a nasty pain in the arse. As I said at the start. I'm not an expert photographer but I know how to buy and sell with with over 36 years experience. Paul2you best of luck and remember, a feint heart never found a fair lady. I had to change the "F" word.

That's a great advertising shot. A nice homey comfortable scene with room for add copy on the right side.

I put m y best photos on flickr and I do have favorites among the batch that I just posted. Would you believe the ones that I thought were my best work got few comments and the ones that I thought were OK got the most? I found out that you never can tell what people will like. Bravo for you for not listening to the naysayers.
