How do I get some pics I took with my cell onto my pc. There is a small card on the side but it is too small for my pc and I'm not sure if the pics are on the card anyway.

You can get adaptors that the small card will fit into, it is the size of a normal card with a slot in it for the small card.

I have an Apple phone (and Apple computer) and I just connect the phone to the computer using a USB cable (may come with the phone) and the pictures are downloaded.

Did you look to see if the charger cable has a usb socket on one end, as most seem to nowadays?

I didn't know that. (Duh) I have been emailing photos to myself from my phone to open on computer. I"ll have to try that on my PC.

Never mind Bamboo, you're only a young lad, and learning is just part of life's rich tapestry!!

You don't mention what phone or sd card you are using, but there are adapters which can take the smaller memory card (micro sd) found in some phones and then slot into the sd port of a pc. (here's one from amazon uk but you should get one on amazon.com or elsewhere http://www.amazon.co.uk/MICRO-SD-TO-CARD-ADAPTOR/dp/B0019AJJRK ).
If your phone has some sort of file browser you should be able to copy it from the phone memory to the memory card in your phone if it is indeed still in phone memory.

My phone has a cord that unplugs from the charger and becomes a USB to plug into computer.

Thanks all of you. My charger only has a solid connection. I'll try the email although I don't have a smart phone. Really thanks a real lot to all of you. Next time I'll be sure to have my camera with me!

Download a free program called "Dropbox". You install it on your PC and your Smart Phone. It automatically sinks via WiFi. It opens in a folder on both the Smart Phone and the Pc. Wonderful program. Any picture you take on the Smart Phone will be in your Dropbox folder on your PC automatically.
